In light of the ever-increasing number of contagious diseases in the news today, including COVID-19, many of our patients have questions about our sterilization practices. We are taking all precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and patients, and we follow very strict sterilization and infection control procedures in our office.

What are our Health and Safety Measures?
- Brand New Clean Clinic & Equipment
- AHS Screening of all patients & staff prior to entering the clinic
- Touchless temperature recording of all patients and staff upon arriving
- Constant Hand Sanitizing of all patients and staff, with hand sanitizer positioned throughout the clinic
- Enhanced and frequent disinfection of all contact surfaces
- All patients, accompanying adults, and team members wear masks at all times when inside the practice. We will provide one to you if you don’t have your own
- Enhanced Complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that follows recommended guidelines from Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Dental Association and College, including respirators, face-shields, long sleeve gowns, and headcovers for all clinical team members
- Reduced waiting room chairs – adequate reduction and spacing at reception room seating and removal of all non-essential surface items (such as magazines, toys, books, etc) that can harbor or transfer germs of any kind.
- Plexiglass barriers at reception
- Advanced ambient air management, including constant air filtration in all treatment operators and patient reception areas
- The Option of Individually Sealed Rooms
- Virtual Online Waiting Room where patients can check-in via text or phone call, and then wait in their vehicle until we are ready, where they can then proceed directly to the operatory
- Social Distancing – to facilitate distancing and minimize contact waiting room is limited and spaced apart
- Providing teledentistry services for follow-up lap reports or communication that can be done online or through video education
- Online papers work (Online NP forms) that we require from all new patients to fill out beforehand (which are mobile and easy)
